Kirsten Demeurichy
Kirsten has more than 25 years of experience in working within the indirect tax field. Ranging from working as a global indirect tax specialist with a Big-4 advisory firm, to over 15 years as an indirect tax director in the pharma and life sciences industry.
Located in Switzerland, Kirsten advises businesses operating internationally across numerous industries with a special focus on the chemical, pharma and life sciences sector. Her portfolio includes start-ups, middle-sized companies and large multinational businesses.
Kirsten’s experience includes general indirect tax and customs planning and structuring, global supply chain management and optimization, warehousing and distribution, drug product development, clinical trials set-up, commercialization, real estate, set-up of indirect tax in ERP systems, registrations and reporting, overseas indirect tax recovery, training services, and more.
Kirsten started her career in Belgium and moved to Allschwil, Switzerland in 2010 with her family. She loves hiking in the mountains, spending time with family and reading.

Katja Brandt
Katja has 23+ years of experience in working within the indirect tax field. Spanning from in-house consulting and working with the tax authorities, to 17 years as a Big-4 global indirect tax specialist. Katja worked 6 years with a Big-4 advisory firm in the US, providing global VAT/GST advisory and compliance services to US clients of all sizes and industries in relation to their international operations.
Located on the US West Coast, Katja advises businesses operating internationally across numerous industries with a special focus on Life Sciences, SaaS and ecommerce. Her portfolio includes everything from smaller start-ups to large multinational businesses.
Katja’s experience includes general indirect tax planning and structuring, global supply chain management and optimization, warehousing and distribution, market expansions, sale and transfer of inventory and business activities (TOGC), drug product development and sales including classification and application for VAT-tax exemption and reduced rates, registrations and reporting, overseas indirect tax recovery, training services, and more.
Katja started her career in Denmark and moved to San Diego, California in 2017 with her family. She loves the year-round outdoor active lifestyle and spending time with her family and friends.
